Four Ordinary Foundations – Teachings of H.E. Sonam Tenzin Rinpoche
In this turbulent era, when negative energy, conflict, and degradation spread everywhere, the light of the Dharma is sometimes obscured by clouds.
With limitless compassion, H.E Sonam Tenzin Rinpoche, our Precious Guru has bestowed the Four Ordinary Contemplations of the Ngondro - foundational Ngondro practice - the gateway that opens the path for practitioners to enter the pure spiritual journey.
These four contemplations are:
The Precious Human Life – recognizing that human birth is a very rare and valuable opportunity for practice.
Impermanence – contemplating the truth of life’s fragility and transience.
Karma, Cause and Effect – understanding the law of dependent origination, that one reaps exactly what one sows, without exception.
The Suffering of Samsara – realizing the endless cycle of birth and death filled with countless forms of suffering, therefore one can raise up the aspiration for liberation.
The following short animation vividly conveys the teachings of H.E Sonam Tenzin Rinpoche in a relatable way, inspiring faith and helping practitioners turn their minds toward the Dharma in practice, ultimately leading to enlightenment.
We respectfully and cordially invite you to watch.
